Berries and Banana Smoothie

What is better than a nice chilled strawberry, blueberry and banana smoothie in the heat of summer? This recipe for a tasty drink is perfect for those hot afternoons and for serving your friends.

You can see my chihuahua loving the smell of it here haha
This recipe needs either yoghurt, ice cream or both, depending on the texture you're aiming for; here I'm using both. The yoghurt can be any flavour really - vanilla works extremely well but for a bit more of a tropical flavour I'm using this small pot of pineapple and coconut for those beach feels ;)

Serves: 2
6 medium/large strawberries
A large handful of blueberries
1 banana
3-4 heaped spoonfuls yoghurt (I used the small pot above)
1 scoop of ice cream
1/2 cup milk
4 ice cubes

1) Wash all the fruit (not bananas of course!)

2) Chop up the strawberries into smaller pieces and cut the bananas into smaller chunks.

3) Add the ingredients to the blender (or in my case this thing above)... fruit, ice cream, yoghurt, milk, ice...

 4) Mix it all up with your blender (I'm just using turbo setting/ highest setting on this blending thingy)

Voila! All done! Now you can enjoy this summery drink with your friends and family. It tastes absolutely perfect and I'm really glad with how it turned out! :D
